Kayak club for children of all ages and abilities. This club provides a social opportunity for children to go kayaking and have fun together. Our next launch will be planned in June 2017.

Stride for Pride
Training program for children of all abilities to participate in a youth 5K/1 mile road race. Team Stride for Pride will train together on Saturdays to prepare to run as a team. Volunteer high school students partner up with our runners for encouragement and support, they train and participate in the race with our athletes. Athletic abilities not needed, that is why we are training! Great social opportunity for all children.

Interactive Metronome is a brain-based rehabilitation program developed to directly improve brain processing abilities that affect attention, motor planning, and sequencing. This, in turn, strengthens motor skills, including mobility and gross motor function, and many fundamental cognitive capacities such as planning, organizing, and language. Clinical research has demonstrated that gains in motor planning and sequencing lead to improvements in attention and concentration, language processing, behavior, motor control and coordination, and academic performance. Children with Sensory Integration Disorder, Asperger Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury may benefit from this program.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle hands on approach which helps improve central nervous system function. The Craniosacral practitioner uses their hands as a diagnostic or therapeutic tool to assess and treat the physical body and central nervous system. The practitioner uses basic handholds from the head to foot to release restrictions in the craniosacral system. By complimenting the body's natural healing process, CST can benefit the body in a number of ways. It is able improve overallhealth and resistance to disease as well as alleviate a wide range of spcific medical conditions.
Therapeutic Listening is therapeutic use of an extensive library of electronically altered music on compact discs in combination with sensory integration treatment strategies. Therapeutic listening can impact posture and self-regulation, cognitive processing to enhance attention, communication, socialization, and academic performance.
Our social skills program is for children ages 4 and up. This program is designed to facilitate positive peer interactions. Children participate in fun activities that work on skills such as greeting, cooperative play, sharing, turn taking, making friends, resolving conflicts, and participating in conversations. Groups are small so that children get more attention from the therapists running the group.
Hippotherapy "Treatment with the help of a horse"
Hippotherapy is a physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy treatment strategy that utilizes the equine movement as part of an integrated intervention program to acheive functional outcomes.
Private and group classes available. Classes are taught by a certified infant massage instructor. Infant massage is a bonding activity between parents and their children.
